So yesterday I had my 2nd therapy session and it went well…it was not as bad as the first time where I could barely look at her without holding back tears…we are getting into some really heavy things and I probably should have been in therapy already but I made the first step…I def will keep going as it will help me deal with my feelings and not just grief but everything…I hope that from this tragedy I will become a better person…I want to be that better person for my daughter

I’m so glad to hear that your second session went well. I’ve been seeing a counselor regularly since 2009; I owe it to her for her help in dealing with the majority of my strong/heavy emotions after loss. I hope you continue to find her helpful, even if all you do is cry at some appointments (I still have some of those).

  2. I hope you find it useful, and the therapist is a good fit for you.
