Are you stronger than you think?

Have you ever heard that you are stronger than you think?  How do you know that you are strong?  Are you strong if you have escaped from poverty or a horrible situation?  Are you strong if you have triumphed over adversity?  Is it defined by how much pain you have suffered without giving up on life?

I have always wondered if I am a strong person.  I have had many obstacles and pain in my life and I have not given up on myself yet. I refuse to give up!!!  Life is too short and precious to give up and not live.  I know that life will not always be rainbows and butterflies but what makes life that much sweeter and brighter is to have gone through all the hell and misery.  How do you know how good you have it unless you have never had it before?
I know I am a strong person…Are you???
