Driving today…

for the first time in over a week…I know the dr. said to wait until I can jump off the last step without pain…I tried it and it didnt hurt so I am going to run to BJ’s and Michael’s which is 2 miles away so no road trip but I get to feel freedom…I have not left the house since last Saturday when I came home from surgery so it will feel good to get out and see some people…I took off my steri-strips since they were itching a little and they really do not do much…its not like they hold your incision in or anything…My eyelid is also still swollen…last week I looked like quasi-moto but now its just slightly swollen…when the dr and anesthesiologist saw thw eyelid they didnt think it was a cause of the surgery but maybe the tape used to shut my eyes caused a reaction…I felt a little freaked out that I might have some kind of nerve damage but its getting better and hopefully in another week the swelling will be completely gone.

Happy Friday Everyone!!!
