Hello 2nd Trimester!!!

Today I am 14 weeks pregnant and I am just so glad that I am here right now.  Its sad but I want the 2nd trimester to fly by just as quickly.  My hubby says I am wishing my life away but if it could just be March tomorrow I would be ecstatic.  I go back to the dr next Thursday for my AFP test and to see the baby again which is always great.  I kinda cannot wait for the weekly exams just so that I can see the baby more.  I use my sonoline-b doppler so I hear the heartbeat everyday but its so comforting to see the baby move and just grow.

  1. Yay, Congrats! I understand what you mean… I don’t think I can really relax until about 35 weeks. But I’m taking it day by day for now. Right now, everything is good and that’s all I can do. Hoping for a quick and uneventful 2nd trimester for you.

Congrats on graduating to the 2nd trimester! Every milestone is a triumph when you’ve dealt with infertility and loss. I tried to break it up into two week goals.

Yesterday at 28 weeks I officially started the 3rd trimester, and viability goes up to 80%. My next goal is 30 weeks, when most of the brain is developed. Celebrate every step, it helps it go faster and helps build confidence. 🙂

Hello from ICLW. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I can understand that feeling of wanting everything to go quickly until your little one is in your arms. I think the ladies above have given great advice: one day, one breath at a time. Wishing you continued peace and growth.

I love my doppler! It was definitely a saving grace for me when I was pregnant with my son after my miscarriage.
