Fall Bucket List: #1 – Pumpkin Carving

So we had a pumpkin carving party this past weekend with a couple of friends.  We all bring our pumpkins and we cook food and enjoy some fun times with our kids.  Our boys are too little to carve but they have fun watching the grown ups battle with pumpkin guts lol.  So I decided to carve an evil clown.  My friend hates clowns which is super funny and he could only appreciate my creativity as he did not like the clown.  I think it came out ok and it should last the week.  I also picked up some tips on pinterest on pumpkin carving like putting vaseline on the cut edges to deter ants from eating it too quickly (which actually has worked so far) and also cutting the hole from the bottom so that you keep the look of the pumpkin which I also liked.

I am more than half-way with my fall bucket list and I should cross of 2 more this week.

How are you doing with your bucket list?  Did you carve a pumpkin?

Love the idea of a craving party. Maybe next year? Your pumpkin looks great, scary but great. B
