Learning Resources Toys

So I bought some learning resources toys since I have read that toys that foster make believe and play help with language.  The reviews on learning resources are really good based on the quality and I was willing to spend a little more for a good toy.

I bought these:

Learning Resources New Sprouts Serve it! My Very Own Dish Set and New Sprouts Deluxe Market Set.

My son loves them and will say he wants to cut the food.

The market set comes with 32 total pieces and its realistic.  It includes a bushel basket, shopping basket, apple, pear, lemon, strawberry, grapes, asparagus, corn, carrot, cucumber, broccoli, juice box, orange, potato, yogurt, 2 slices of bread, cinnamon roll, 3 pretzels, 2 slices of cheese, salami, cookie, 2 lettuce leaves, tomato slice, ice cream sandwich, steak, and hot dog.

The 24-piece set includes four each: plates, bowls, cups, knives, forks, and spoons.  I have only the 1 set shown since I put the other 3 sets away.  My son does not need all 4 sets available to him.dsc07778

If your looking for a good quality realistic toy that will promote make believe play I would look into these.
