So as I stated in my previous blog post that my New Year’s Resolution was to become a healthier fitter me. I know its cliche to want to lose weight and everyone starts strong but fizzles out. I have a little more motivation this time around for these reasons:
- Going on a beach vacation next month and dont want to feel like a whale
- Doing a biggest loser challenge at work. The pot is $140
- I joined DietBet and put in $35
With the possibility of winning money I have more incentive.
The program that I have chosen this time around is the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge. I have done tons of other programs including a multitude of Beach Body (Chalene Extreme, 21 Day Fix, T25 and Piyo). They are all great but I wanted to try something different. The Bikini Body Mommy Challenge is a 90 day program and the workouts are all on youtube for FREE!!! The workouts are all under 30 minutes which is perfect for me since I can do them while Eric naps. They really get my heart pumping. She is a real person so you see that she gets winded and tired like we all do unlike in the workout videos where the trainer is in tip top shape.
I know that nutrition is also key to my success so I have revamped that and I cut out all soda and I am drinking or trying to drink at least 64oz of water a day. I am not depriving myself so I have had a couple of cookies here and there but not going crazy. On Saturday I do allow myself to eat what I would like but again not going overboard.
I am currently on day 10 of the program and so far I have lost 6lbs!!! Which is amazing!!! I will post my before pictures as well as my measurements and give updates periodically on my results.
