Feeding a Toddler!!!

Eric has generally been a good eater and has not been super picky which I am super grateful for.  My approach from the beginning was if he didnt want to eat what I made that was fine but I refused to make him a new meal.  If he does not eat at all then maybe before bed I would give him a piece of cheese or fruit just so that he won’t wake up at night hungry.  For the most part he has eaten his meals or part of it with his milk.

I bought this plate for him for Christmas last year and it helps with knowing how much food to feed him as well.622e4bdceba2fa78b8c1cadde44367ea

I also try to involve him in preparing the meals and also what he wants to eat especially if we are eating steak for dinner and I dont like giving him red meat.  It has really helped with his enjoying the food most of the time.

I was a super picky eater as a kid and my parents would make me whatever I wanted when I wanted and I refused to allow my child to act the same way.
