My Infertility Journey

We started TTC in August 2011…before we officially started I was off of depo provera for about 1.5 yrs and we used no protection at all….when we finally decided that we were ready I went to see my OB/GYN since I had been diagnosed with PCOS when I was 12…

Timeline:

August 2011 T I (GYN)#1 (clomid) – BFN

September 2011 TI (GYN)#2 (clomid)- BFN

Decided that I should seek the help of an RE and regret taking clomid unmonitored with my GYN

October 2011 IUI#1 (clomid 100mg) – BFN

December 2011 IUI#2 (clomid 100mg) – BFN

January 2012 – Switched RE’s and took a break due to a cyst

February 2012 IUI#3 (femara 5mg) – BFN

March 2012 IUI#4 (femara 5mg) – BFN

April 2012 IUI#5 (femara 5mg) – BFN

May 2012 IUI#6 (femara 5mg) – BFN

June 2012 – Prepared for IVF

July 2012 IVF #1 – Transferred 1 AA Hatching Blast – BFN

September FET #1 – Transferred 2 AA Blasts – BFP w/ singleton

February 2013 – We lost our daughter  due to an Incompetent Cervix

March 2013 – TAC surgery

April 2013 – Spontaneously ovulated and no need for provera

April 2013 – Mock Transfer & Saline Sono

May 2013 – Ovulated naturally – BFN

July 2013 – FET#2 – BFP w/ singleton

March 2014 – Gave birth to my son

I’m glad you managed to have your son in the end. It’s been a long hard journey and I’m sure your story will inspire many others.
